Is the service only in person, or do you also offer remote medical guidance?
In addition to in-home consultations in Santa Marta, we also offer Teleconsultation and Phone Guidance for all of Colombia. Please note that remote service does NOT replace a physical exam or full medical consultation, but it does provide immediate professional guidance.
What is the cost of an at-home consultation and what does it include?
The consultation fee is COP $69,900. It includes the medical consultation (physical exam, diagnosis, and treatment) and the corresponding post-consultation follow-up. If you are outside Santa Marta, additional travel fees may apply. This amount does NOT include required diagnostic tests.
Can you help with travel paperwork for my pet?
Absolutely. Dr. Bernal VetCare can manage your pet's complete travel health process, including National and International Health Certificates based on ICA or destination requirements, ISO microchip placement, and vaccine schedule review. Contact us in advance to review destination requirements and ensure a smooth trip.
Is Dr. Bernal specialized in any area of veterinary medicine?
Yes. Dr. Bernal VetCare specializes in Internal Medicine and Veterinary Endocrinology, allowing expert management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, Cushing syndrome, and hypothyroidism, among others, with comprehensive care that goes beyond general practice.
